doda, Feb 6: 42nd Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) organized a medical-cum-veterinary camp at Government Middle school, Changa, Sub Division Gandoh, for the welfare of the people of Gwari, Sote, Kilotharan and Gandoh area.
The programme was inaugurated by Bhushan Kumar Ganjoo, SDPO Gandoh in the presence of Rajesh Tikku, Commandant, 42nd Battalion, SSB, Dr YJK Singh, Commandant (Medical), Dr KS Devi, Commandant (Medical), Neeraj Kumar Thapa, Deputy Commandant, Anil Kumar Mazumdar, Assistant Commandant, Captain Deepak Dhingra of 26th RR, Md Parvej Ahamed, BDO Gandoh and other dignities.
In the camp, approximately 500 patients including children and women of nearby villages were treated by Dr YJK Singh and Dr KS Devi. Free of cost medicines were also distributed among the needy patients.
During the programme, 15 sewing machines with stand were also distributed among the widows and poor girls of village Sote under community development works. |
