Kathua, Feb 7 : Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua organized an event, "Fun Day Celebration" in the school premises on Sunday. The event was a combination of learning and fun. Parents of the school students were invited and more than 100 parents were present. The morning began with Welcome Song. In her welcome address the Principal Shuchita Gupta, while stressing on the innovative methods of education said, "Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua is getting noticed and making steady progress in the very first year of functioning. We wish to bring out skill based outcomes from the students and hence this school is teaching differently." The Director of Education & Health International, Anju Mehta, took a parenting workshop for the parents. During this workshop, Anju Mehta explained the different methods which are being used in the school, to ensure that the students grow up with a lot of confidence and learn to speak English fluently. Education and Health International (EHI) is a Mumbai based organization which advises schools on International practices to create a great learning environment and train the teachers in English and teaching methods. The organization is training the school on achieving global standards in all areas. Present on the occasion, the Vice President Languages for EHI Suma Chacho, emphasized on the importance of fluency to achieve success in life. The school organized a lot of fun games for the parents and children like Tambola, Musical Chair, Co-ordination game, Bricks race, Ring the object, etc. in which the parents participated enthusiastically. |
