Jammu, Feb 7: Dogra Sadar Sabha to organize a special session on February 16 at Sabha Bhawan Jammu to project the Dogras heritage and culture. According to press release, special invitees to session will be the prominent British MP Bob Blackman, Manu Khajuria Singh, daughter of soil, who has started the "Voice of Dogras" in England and Lakshmi Koul who is heading "Kashmiri Pandits Cultural Society" in London. The meeting held under the chairmanship of chairmanship of Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha gave final touches to the programme for February 16 session. According to the plan, a Dogra traditional reception will be accorded to the visiting dignitary and both the distinguished visitors to enlighten them about the Dogra history, culture as also role of the Dogras. While the visitors will be given standing ovation, presentation of the Dogras historic role in strategy J&K State and also present secular and nationalistic contribution. The Pratap Hall of the Sabha is being given a facelift with display of eminent Dogra personalities from different fields. |
