DG ICAR visits KVK Reasi 2/8/2016 10:50:43 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 8: Director General, ICAR, Dr. S. Ayyappan visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK),Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences-Jammu(SKUAST-J). A Kissan Ghosti chaired by Dr.Ayyappan was held at KVK campus in which around 200 farmers from Reasi district actively participated. Director Extension of SKUAST-J Dr. K.S. Risam welcomed Director General (DG) ICAR and appraised his second visit in the KVK. He appreciated the keen interest of Director General who visited even one of the remotest KVK's (KVK Reasi) of the country. He interacted with the farmers and suggested the farmers to adopt the scientific guidelines given by the KVK experts. He also advised the farmers to participate in the KVK activities with full enthuse. Dr. Ayappan interacted with the farmers and gave them important scientific guidelines so that they can increase their production.
