Shastri CC bags JPL tournament

jammu, Feb 8: Jammu Premier League's tournament today concluded with its final match between Shastri Cricket Club and Dhoni Cricket Club.
The target of 122 runs for all out was set by Shastri Cricket club which was not successfully chased by Dhoni Cricket Club as they scored only 118 runs in 20 over's with 5 wickets remaining. SCC Pacer Rana was declared as the Man of the Match and lrfan was declared as the Man of the Series, both the teams played well but it was SCC who won the prestigious trophy of Jammu Premier League.
On the occasion, Vijay Bakaya Ex MLC was Chief Guest and Bhushan Lal Bhat Ex MLC, Anil Dhar Provincial Vice President NC, Jammu, M L Munshe, Joint Secy. NC, Jammu Province, Rohit Bali, Vice President, Youth National Conference, Bal Krishan Bhat, Amit Koul, Ramesh Bharti, Vice Presidents of NC Minority Cell, Pintooji were the Guest of Honors.
M K Yogi, President, NC Minority Cell and Chief Organizer of the Tournament honored the Chief Guest and distributed the mementos to various Guest of honors.
Later, Bakaya and Yogi along with alt the guests distributed the trophies and cash cheque prize of Rs 15,000 and Rs 7,000 among the wining and runner up teams.
While speaking on occasion, Bakaya stressed upon the Cricket authorities that they should nourish the talent of talented youth of J&K state and give them the place that they deserve.
Yogi thanked all the teams for their cooperation and well disciplined behavior for the better functioning of this Successful tournament and said we will organized more tournament for the youth of J&K. Yogi thanked all the guests for attaining their precious time and also thanked Latif Hussain Khan and Deepak Fotedar, organizers for their tireless work without which the tournament was impossible.
Others who were present on the occasion were C. L Chrungoo WCC Owner, Dhruv Mahajan, Ranjhi, Abhay Bakaya, Bitoo, Vicky Pandita and others.
