Jammu, Feb 9: In an application filed for release of a car, which had tinted glasses, a high court division bench of Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today directed that even after the expiry of about five years, the petitioner had not chosen to remove the tinted glasses which had resulted in seizure of his car.
Hence, the car was ordered to be released on remittance of Rs 1,000 towards the Advocates' Welfare Fund and only after the production of receipt in this behalf, the vehicle would be released, the bench directed. (JNF)
