Jammu, Feb 9: Students of the Jammu Sanskriti School brought laurels in an Interschool folk song competition was organized by KC Gurukul Public School Paloura, Jammu under the banner of Sahodya School Complex Jammu Chapter. Participants from Jammu Sanskriti School, Puneet Thappa, Sakshi Choudhary, Simarjeet Singh, Vartika Singh, Anshika Pandey, Arooshi Bhagat, Prithvi Singh Mahek Ahmed were brought laurels to the school by winning.
Prestigious schools of Jammu and Udhampur participated in this event in order to strengthen cordial relations amongst the CBSE schools besides this opportunity provided to young scholars to excel in co-scholastic areas. Principal cum Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima appreciated for their enthusiasm and capabilities. She stressed that students should sing folk songs to be in touch with the traditional culture of the nation. |
