Tasaduq's elevation can make Karra unhappy! | | | Peerzada Ummer Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 11: The PDP senior leader Tariq Hameed Karra seems to have struck the hornet's nest again as this time around he has expressed his reservations about possibility of late Chief Minister's lone son Tasaduq Mufti being given an important role in the party. In an interview here Karra said that Tasaduq was introduced in the party as a 'self reliant man' the one who wants to work for the environment in the state. "He was introduced in a party as a successful professional who has no political experience or even inclination towards politics, as I know it," Karra said when he was asked to comment over the reports that Tasaduq Mufti may be projected and elevated as new face of the party and he could be the PDP's prospective candidate for Anantnag's parliamentary seat in times ahead. Pertinently, on January 25, Tasaduq, who has worked as a cinematographer, had stated that he would pay full attention towards the issues which are confronting the State."Earlier I was doing it from a distance, but now I am here and I will give it my full attention. I know we differ with each other in this place but there is one common ground too - we all want to see a Kashmir where we and our future generations can live, we all want our home," said Tasaduq, "This was my father's vision. My aim is to work and make a little difference in that direction and to realise his dream." |
