Kishtwar, Feb 12 : Despite Government claims that they have released sufficient amount to clear the pending salaries of ReTs, the education department has failed to clear the pending salaries of all the ReTs who are threatening to lodge protest in case the department fails to release their salaries with immediate effect.
As per the details available with "Early Times, an emergency meeting of All J&K ReT teachers forum was today held at Chowgan Kishtwar wherein the issues concerning the cadre were discussed.
While talking to "Early Times" angry ReTs said that few days ago the salary amount was released from SPD Jammu and was credited into the accounts of concerned CEO's, but the same was not credited in the accounts of concerned DDO as per the requirement as a result the previous liabilities remain uncleared. They said that the staff working in zonal offices have been detached vide government order No.26 Edu of 2016 that too without making the necessary arrangements.
Consequently the teachers are badly suffering due to unavailability of staff and urged upon the authorities to redress these genuine issue of the cadre as early as possible. They said that the deputation of ReTs also called on DC Kishtwar at his office chamber and apprised him about the issue of non release of salaries. After giving patient hearing, DC Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan assured the ReT leaders that he will look into the matter for early redressal and further directed CEO Kishtwar to look into the issue on top priority and clear the liabilities at the earliest.
