rajouri, Feb 12: In a drive against habitual offenders Rajouri police have arrested an absconder from Manjakot area who was evading arrest for the last more than 5 years.
According to police spokesperson, the accused identified as Fiaz Alam son of Fateh Mohd resident of Saroola, Manjakot was wanted in case FIR No 45/2011 lodged at Police Station Nowshera under section 188 RPC ( disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 3 PC Act.
"Police has produced the case in the court against the accused and the trial Court had also issued warrant of arrest under section 512CrPC, Police said adding, "On the direction from the trial court and instructions from Rajeshwar Singh, SSP Rajouri, the police team from Manjakot Police led by inspector Mohd Yunis conducted raids at village Saroola to arrest the accused."
After the arrest of accused, police lodged him at Manjakot police station and will be produced before the trial court. |
