Jammu, Feb 13: While the Congress has extended
a helping hand towards agitating reserved category employees, the BJP has failed to solve the issue.
Moreover, in Jammu region BJP has eight MLA from reserved category communities including SCs and STs.
On Saturday, the Ladakh Region Action Committee for Protection of Reservation (LRACPR) led by led by Sheikh Abdullah Jalili extended its support to JKRCEA.The Congress jumped into the agitation
of reserved category employees, as party leader and MLA Nawang Rigzin Jorajoined the agitating employees.
Jora while addressing the rally of employees, castigated the state government for not contesting in favour of their own law which is in consonance with Article 370, 35-A of Indian Constitution and Article 6 of J&K Constitution.
The former minister requested the Governor to immediately come up with political solution of Restoration of Reservation in Promotion in the
best interests of reserved categories. He also alleged that whenever BJP comes into power or in any state it targets the majority community of this country by either raising debate on constitutional review or by targeting reservation.
Jora sought immediate solution to the problem and warned that in case of failure, the situation may turn out of control that may damage the democratic structure of the state.
However, none of BJP leader today joined reserved category employees.
"Another meeting of SCs, STs and OBCs was held at Gujjar Charitable Trust, but the BJP leaders also escaped from the meeting, these communities are major vote bank for any political party", said an
employees, adding that during Lok-Sabha election BJP won because of Narendra Modi, who was presented as OBC, since reserved categories
represent 90 percent of total population of India. "We warn, our rulers, be answerable towards communities' or get ready to be rooted out", said an anger employee, adding that not only reserved category, even general category employees have fed up with BJP, they are waiting for right, to teach them a lesson.
It pertinent to mention here that before governor rule in state, the BJP has tried to impress agitating employees, by joining their rallies. But, now BJP's MLAs from reserved categories, are escaping.
