Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Apr 16: In a surprising development, three local Congress leaders including two Sarpanchs and District Seva Dal President today attended the BJP function at Dak Bungalow Kishtwar which was addressed by the Minister of State for Science & Technology & Transport Sunil Kumar Sharma. As per the eyewitnesses, Congress Sarpanch from Begana Satish Kumar Baghat, Congress Sarpanch from Lachdiyaram Noor Hussain Mir and District Congress Seva Dal President Ravi Kumar Parihar attended the BJP official function at Dak Banglow Kishtwar which was organized by the District BJP unit Kishtwar to honour MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma for his induction in Council of Ministers. All the three Congress leaders remained present in the function till the end. "In fact all the three were sitting among the audience in advance, even before the minister and senior party leaders arrived at the venue" said the eyewitnesses.
A senior Congress leader while reacting to the development said that Congress Sarpanch Noor Mohammad along with District Congress Seva Dal President Ravi Kumar Parihar have been issued show cause notice for creating ruckus during Ghulam Nabi Azad's rally couple of years ago at same venue. He said that both are habitual violators of party directions and termed both of them as non serious towards the party.
He said that another Sarpanch Satish Kumar Baghat was seen indulging in such activities for the first time and added that party leadership should take the note of the anti party activities of all the three leaders who were seen shouldering with the ruling party at the cost of their own party. He said that Congress was ideologically opposed to BJP attending any function of the BJP is clear cut violation of party norms which should not be taken lightly. He urged upon the State President Ghulam Ahmed Mir and Vice President Ghulam Mohammad Saroori to take stern action against the trio so that the discipline could be maintained within the party carder.
