| Grenade attack on police station, another grenade recovered | | | | Srinagar, Apr 28: Suspected militants today attacked a police station with a hand grenade damaging parked vehicles while another live grenade was recovered in south Kashmir, official source said here. They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards police station at Sherbagh Anantnag from rare side of the building. However, the grenade exploded in the compound damaging a number of parked vehicles, they said adding no one was injured. Security forces launched a massive hunt to nab the militants who hurled the grenade. However, no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Meanwhile, a live hand grenade was recovered from Ashmuqam area of Anantnag district. The grenade was defused without causing any damage, they said. |
