Four of a family killed in Saudi Arabia accident

Jammu, Apr 29: In a tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, four members of a Srinagar based family were killed while two others including minor were critical and are undergoing treatment in King Abdul Aziz hospital.
As per the family members, Bashir Ahmad Mir (40) a residents of Banpora Road Batamaloo, Srinagar, who worked as Manager HR in Saudi KAD based in Dammam,had flown his full family to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah died in an accident near Jeddah, capital of Saudi Aarabia along with his father Muhammad Sidiq Mir, wife Rifat Ara Sheikh resident of Old Bazar Kishtwar and his minor daughter Maryam while his mother and minor son received critical injuries in the said accident and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The family members informed that father and the mother of the deceased had flown to Saudi Arabia recently and the family was performing Umrah while his wife and two children were living with him in the kingdom for many years now.
"All the family members were traveling when they met an accident near Jeddah. He was on his way to Madina Sharief with his family from Makkah Mukkaramah after performing Umrah" said the family members added that Bashir Ahmad Mir, his father Muhammad Sidiq Mir and daughter Maryam died on the spot while his mother, wife and another child were critical and hospitalized in King Abdul Aziz Hospital where his wife Rifat Ara Sheikh later succumbed to her injuries.
"He was great person who have helped hundreds of Kashmiris to join his company," a Kashmiri based in Saudi Arabia posted on Facebook.
Meanwhile MLA Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, MLC Firdous Tak, Sharik Saroori, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Tanveer Kichloo, Anil Parihar, Wasil Doolwal, Rashid Lone, Shakir Hussain Siddiqui, Sanjeev Parihar, Ajaiz Naik expressed their grief over the tragedy.
