Jammu, Apr 29: A snag along the railway track, along Manwal to Jammu brought normal rail traffic to a grinding halt with thousands of commuters left stranded at different stations and even trains for over couple of hours. Sources said, "Three trains were purportedly stranded midway and got affected on the Jammu -Pathankote route due to some technical snag on Railway Track at Manwal line of the Northern Railways, causing several trains to stand still at various places near Jammu Railway Station. As per reports, taking a precautionary measure, railway authorities had to bring several trains to a sudden halt which including DMU and Superfast trains. "Train traffic resumed after the fault was repaired successfully by the railways which brought the relief of travelers and rail officials also, sources added.
