Jammu, Apr 29 : Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar celebrated its 24th foundation day cum prize distribution function in its premises on April 20. According to press release, Former Revenue minister, Raman Bhalla was chief guest of the function, Swami Hridayanand Giri and other dignitaries from educational department and Rita Mengi (Trustee of R M College), Ravinder Kour (Principal of R.M.P.S) and PK Dhar (Principal of R.M College) sister concerns of Shiksha Niketan, two representatives from Gandhi Nagar and Amit Gupta (Incharge of Sr. Sec. Wing, JN) were also present there. The guests were welcomed with band troop. Bouquets were presented by Rameshwar Mengi and Incharges of the School. Many beautiful cultural items were presented by different wings of the school. Then the academic result was announced by the Principal of the year 2014-15, 200 students appeared in the secondary class exam out of which the school got 32 positions and 147 distinctions and 100% result. And in Sr. Sec. Exams in the year 2014-15, 626 students passed with 15positions and 417 distinctions and with 95% result. The meritorious students were given the scholarship of Rs. 16,52,500 in the year 2014-15. |
