Jammu, Apr 29 : Dance Federation of India (DFOI) J&K Unit has celebrated International Dance Day at Unique Dancing Institute Jammu. On this occasion a dance programme was held in Junior and senior categories. More than 50 Dancers gave performances in folk, classical and western categories. Also a short play on child labour,"Kya yeh meri life hai" was staged in which Master Tatvagya Bhargav gave an excellent Solo performance depicting the life of the children engaged as workers in various fields viz. Begging, waste collecting, dhaba workers etc. The play highlights the emotions that are going on in the mind of a child while working in various fields as labourer. Also Seema Mehra has sung Dogri songs on the occasion. Sunil Sharma President Dance Federation of India (Regd.) J&K Unit said that main motive of Dance Federation of India (Regd.) is to bring into limelight the hidden & unexplored dancing talent from the region to national & International arena in a phased manner. |
