Sudansh, Anju excel in Udhampur Sport Climbing | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 29 : Sudansh Verma of National Academy High School, Udhampur won the coveted Boys title in the Udhampur District Sport Climbing Championship which concluded at Sprawling Buds School, here today. In a close contest with upcoming climbers, Sajal Sharma and Rohit Singh, Sudansh, who represented the state in the Zonal Competition last year, displayed good technique and temperament to clinch the title. Similarly, in the Sub Junior Boys category, Anuj Kumar, a senior climber gave a good account of himself to emerge victorious against talented climbers, Anuj Mahajan and Divyansh Verma. The most interesting contest was, however, witnessed in the Mini Girls category in which the budding climbers competed like seasoned climbers and won the applause of the crowd. Ultimately, Vanshika Mishra, Shruti Sharma and Shivali Thakur claimed the first three positions respectively. Other Results: Sub Junior Girls: Adhika Jamwal, Ist; Parul Sharma, 2nd and Vanshika, 3rd. Mini Boys: Dhruv Balotra, Ist; Nitin Sharma, 2nd and Sahil Kumar, 3rd. In the concluding function Director of Spawling Buds School, Arti Sharma was the chief guest who distributed medals and mementoes among the winners.
