| Model Academy celebrates 'World Book Day' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 30: In its ongoing effort to enhance the reading skills of students, Model Academy the prestigious school MIER, celebrated World Book Day in both its branches today where children of all ages participated in different activities.
Model Academy has been organizing intellectually stimulating events for the students ranging from special assemblies, story and poetry session, book reviews& releases to discussions with wide ranging implications as far as the literary & cultural moorings of students are concerned. With this objective the day was celebrated so as to enhance the literary skills and also to inculcate the pleasure of reading different types of books in students.
The day started with a special assembly where the students of Einstein House spoke on, "Books are our friends".
In the classroom students of Primary wing prepared bookmarks participated in story telling session and read their favourite books. |
