JKMEF demands punishment to Gynecologist, BMO SDH Akhnoor for negligence 4/30/2016 10:00:49 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 30: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) condemned irresponsible and casual behavior of the doctors of SDH Akhnoor, BMO Akhnoor for mishandling pregnancy case thereby putting the lives of patient in danger. Addressing press conference, Sushil Sudan, President JKMEF said criticized the BMO Akhnoor and the Gynecologist when a patient Nisha Devi woman of Vakil Chand who was pregnant and having labour pains was taken to SDH Akhnoor, was refused treatment at SDH Akhnoor and was referred to SMGS Hospital Jammu. Unfortunately the patient was not provided the ambulance for transporting to Jammu despite the provision under JYSSK to provide Ambulance for Gynae Patients for timely transportation. The patient was forced to take private bus to reach SMGS Hospital Jammu. Sushil Sudan while condemning the attitude of Block Medical Officer, Akhnoor who had failed to tackle this emergency issue and demanded punishment for both BMO and erring Gynecologist on duty to avoid such inhuman acts by so called hardworking Doctors in future.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
