Jammu, Apr 30: To celebrate the "International Dance Day" Bhartiya Lok Sangeet presented dance drama " Dugar Nach " at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu. The main aim of the programe to promote rich cultural Heritage of Jammu province like Traditional folk , Folk Songs and Dances of J&K State. The Program was inaugurated by VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity ,Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India. Sh.Romesh Chander , Event Director was guest of honor. The programe was commenced with the Sanskrit Shalok " Yasyam Narityati gayanti yetva". Especially prepared on the theme like "Sun Sun Sheli meri Sun ", "Mere banku De Chachuya", "Chan Chan Chan panjeb meri Chanke ", "Surma Nima Nima", "Gori Di Panjeb", "Sadde Jammuya ","Paranda la Ladiyo". |
