| J.P. World School Celebrates Graduation Ceremony , Mothers' Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 30 : To pay befitting tribute to all mothers for their role in up bringing of children and managing families, Mothers Day was celebrated today at J.P. World School It was celebrated on occasion of Graduation Ceremony that was held in school to award Graduation Certificates to those students who have stepped into primary phase of their life after successful completion of pre-primary stage.
Ashok Singh Manhas- the managing trustee of the school, was the chief guest for the programme .
The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest and the Principal of the school . Jitinder Singh Hundal by lighting the ceremonial lamp and seeking Goddess Saraswati's blessings. The cultural function began with welcome song swagatam, presented by the students of class 3 and 4. The present mothers also participated in different fun games organized by the school, to break the monotony of their life.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by the Principal, Jitinder Singh Hundal in which he recognized the place of mothers' in our life. He also stressed on the age old cultural of Indian society in which mothers were placed even before God. He said " We need to adopt those values in our life by respecting our mothers and helping them in their household works". |
