JAMMU, May 1 : Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School Jammu organized the Annual Nano Nagle Memorial Inter-School Debate in the School Auditorium, here today. Eminent Educationist, Gitanjali Andotra Rana, Associate Prof Department of English, GCW Parade, Nirlape Kaur, HoD Department of Political Science MAM College and Anshuja Tak were the adjudicators of the event.
The house debated on the hotly contested topic 'Caste Based Reservations are a Sure Step to India's Socio-Economic Progress.'In all, 12 schools participated from across Jammu. Ananya Sharma of Jodhamal Public School bagged the first position, Khushboo Turki clinched the second place, while the third place was shared by Mehula Khajuria of Presentation Convent and Mahavir Singh of DPS Jammu. Manasvini Oswal of Jodhamal School received the consolation prize and the Rolling Trophy was lifted by Presentation Convent School, Jammu.Gitanjali Andotra Rana , In her address lauded the high standard of the debate and congratulated the winners . |
