Jammu wins football tie 5/1/2016 8:37:28 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, May 1 : Jammu district defeated the combined side of Kathua-Samba district 2-1 in the ongoing inter-district football tournament played under talent hunt initiative of SSPF and SAI at GD Goenka Public School, here. Although Kathua-Samba combined made the first goal through Amit Singh of APS Janglote in the 10th minute of the match, still Jammu emerged victorious by netting two goals in rest of the game. Tanshu of GD Goenka (24th) and Sambhav Koul of the same school (68th) were the scorers from jammu. Dil Bahadur lead the Kathua-Samba district team as manager while Moon Stephen accompanied the Jammu district team. State Coordinator, Iqbal Singh and District coordinator, Arun Pal Singh Jasrotia of SSPF were among those present. With this the SSPF and SAI talent search has concluded in state since schools from Kashmir and Leh did not register and participate in this program.
