Recognize role played by labour class in building economy: Bhalla 5/1/2016 9:35:50 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 1: Giving significance of labour class on the occasion of labour day Former Minister and Senior Congress leader Bhalla urged everyone to recognize the role play by them in the economy and also to give them due respect and dignity they deserve the most it is time to celebrate the contribution of working people who have given their days and nights in ensuring that no development should be stopped on their behalf irrespective of conditions prevailing at that time He added that no one can denied of fact that working class particularly labour class has played an important role in development and prosperity of nation across the globe. Adding further Bhalla said that economic recovery is being under mind by the Govt. actions over the last two years including employing the labourers at the wages below the market rate, cuts to employment insurance and forcing workers to work at lower wages, continue interference in the collective bargaining process on the side of employee as well as attack on Union and Labours right. These measures are need to be reversed and replaced by policies that support rather than under cut real wage increased for workers. However expressing disappointment over the negligence of working class in Jammu and Kashmir Bhalla stated that government should immediately come out with concrete policies and progammes to ensure that working class should not suffer into the hands of bad governance wrong policies and delay in releasing the wages which effects the life of working class very badly , on this day he assured the working class that Congress will leave no stone unturned in addressing and highlighting the grievances of working class to its logical conclusions.
