Dr Nirmala Deshpande remembered 5/1/2016 9:36:39 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 1: Gandhi Global Family, a national-level organization propagating values and vision of the Father of the Nation, Mahatama Gandhi, today marked a remembrance day in memory of its founder Dr. Nirmal Deshpande on her 8th death anniversary in Delhi. The programme is conducted by Gandhi Global Family Delhi State branch and is presided by Ravi Thakur, GGF Advisor and Vice Chairman National Commission for Scheduled Tribes. Thakur presented tributes to the eminent Gandhian and initite the call of the Gandhian voice for inculcating Gandhian values with the youth of the country. Padmashri S P Varma, Vice President Gandhi Global Family highlighted that the Gandhian philosophy has crossed all the geographical precincts and has more relevance today than before. He describes Gandhiji as a beacon of hope for the world struggling with violence and forces of vehemence.
