NMC demands Modi to constitute NWC 5/1/2016 9:38:06 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, May 1: National Mazdoor conference (NMC) President Subash Shastri on Sunday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to constitute a National Wage Commission to assess and formulate policies for revision of wage structure of the working class throughout the country adding that the issue has not been revisited for more than past two decades. Addressing well attended NMC Workers meet here, Shastri said those who are expressing sympathy with the working class had ample chances to ameliorate their suffering during the period they clung to power. "That is why the need of the hour is the constitution of the wage commission as favorable vibes and expressions are coming from the Prime Minister," he said. Shastri asked the central government to immediately issue notification regarding the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission report.
