Jammu, May 1: Scattering the nectar of spiritualism at Satwari Chowk, Jammu, Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth said to his followers that the devotees feel a sense of peace after seeking the shelter of a Satguru.
Param Hans said this is because they are far removed from Maya (illusion), lust, anger & the like. In what way one receives this peace of mind? In olden times, the people used to sit in the shade of trees like Peeple, Bargad. Poems have also been written on these.
A person sitting in an A.C. fitted room thinks that he has got relief from heat. But the fact is that heat is very much there though its effect has been checked for the time being by the action of the cooper.
So the elders used to sit in the shade of Peeple tree to enjoy peace of mind that the shade at home or the cool of the A.C. can't provide. This is because the leaves of the Peeple tree have a wonderful property of keeping away the scorching heat of the sun. |
