Jammu, May 2: The Jammu & Kashmir Bank Officers' Punjab unit was constituted here today.
As per press release, Bishambar Singh Jamwal, Executive Manager, Branch Head Dharmshala was appointed convener cum returning officer for elections. Jamwal called general body meeting of officers presently serving in the Punjab zone on May 1 at Jallandhar to hold general body elections of the Punjab unit.
Subsequently, the meeting unanimously elected Mohan Singh presently posting in Pathankot branch as President of Punjab unit.
Ashwani Sharma of Karnal branch elected as senior vice president, Kapil Dass of Bathinda branch was elected as vice president, Pritam Singh of Mohali Branch as General Secretary, Sunil of Hoshiarpur branch as Organizing Secretary
Nand Lal of Amritsar branch and Jeet Lal Khokharia of Panipat branch were elected as secretaries. Hem Raj of Amritsar branch elected as Treasurer of the unit.
The new unit assured the officers that they will come up to the expectations of the members and provide support to all members at all times. |
