| Mehbooba Mufti is presently plying the vehicle of the Coalition Government in a nice way and passing all the sharp curves on the way to reach at the destination . She is not inviting any sort of controversy with the Central Government which too extending its full cooperation and all out financial help to her in the completion of all the important tasks for the overall betterment of the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir . She has moved an inch further in accommodating the 10 cabinet ministers of her partner BJP in the Government as her father Mufti Sahib had accommodated only eight cabinet ministers in his cabinet. She is maintaining the equilibrium and owing to this, there is no murmuring and panic in the partner's chamber . On 3rd of May, Mehbooba Mufti has completed 30 days of governance in the state successfully passing out all odds. She is fully determined to get the Suchetgah - Sialkot Baba Chamblayal and Nowshera - Jhangar routes open at the earliest and she is regularly pursuing with the centre on this score. Last week before the Darbar move she had the whirl wind tour of Suchetgarh and Baba Chamblayal areas of Jammu District and interacted with the local people of these areas personally and had the inputs on the spot. She stated that this can be possible only when India and Pakistan come more closer to each other and hold the bilateral talks to defuse the various tangles .During this intervening period, she has shared the dais with the Prime Minister Narender Modi at Kakrayal HQ of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University when he inaugurated the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Speciality Hospital on April 19. While inaugurating the hospital , PM Modi praised Mehbooba like anything and stated that whenever she meets him , she always talks about the welfare of the state and its subjects .
It has been learnt for the insiders that she disposes the files sent to her for seeking her approval quickly . There is no pendency at all at her level . Her Government has already appointed the Chairmen of all the District Development Boards in the state as also their Board meetings Schedule stands fixed. Shortly she would be holding the DDB meeting of the DDB, Srinagar whereas Dy. CM Nirmal Singh would be convening the meeting of the DDBs of Jammu and Samba of which he is the Chairman .
Certainly this is a right step in the right direction without wasting the time . While visiting Mubarak Mandi complex, she expressed her happiness in seeing such a marvelous ancient structure of the Maharajas of the state as also recollected her old days when she was studying in the Women's College Parade , Jammu . Seeing the very importance of the submission of the Utilization Certificates(UCs)and showing her serious concern, she has imparted the directions to all concerned to comply with the submission of UCs at the earliest so as to enable the state to seek more and more funds for the overall development of the state . While speaking before the massive gathering at Udhampur, she has stressed for the need of successful dialogue between India and Pakistan one side and pleaded before the people of the state to give her a time of 5 years peace so as to enable her to make the state of Jammu and Kashmir as a 'Model State' in the country . During this intervening period of thirty days she has shown that she is serious in carrying out the legacy of her father Mufti Mohammed Sayeed .Safe guarding the interests of the women in the state , four women police stations are came into being effecting from May 15 which would be exclusively for the women of the state for the purpose of solving their grievances expeditiously without any fear . By her deeds and actions during the month under review, signals have gone in the field that she will always be positive towards Jammu and Ladhakh regions besides Kashmir in the days to come. MOU for IIT Jammu stands signed and the efforts are on to establish AIIMs at Jammu soon . Specifically, she has stated that Jammu will be an independent tourist circuit as there is a tremendous potential for the same. Her these efforts are considered to be the right steps in the right direction . To restore the confidence of the public in the valley , the removal of a bunker from the busy chowk of the troubled town of Handwara is a right step taken by the state administration . Earlier Mehbooba was having a Kashmir centric approach and after becoming the Chief Minister she has altogether changed which is really appreciable and welcomed by the Jammuites . Recollecting her younger days when she was studying in Jammu and speaking freely before the Jammu masses, gives the conclusive presumption that she is trying to win the hearts of the people of Jammu region. Not only this , Mehbooba has stressed the need for availing of the full funding from the Central Government under the Flagship Schemes . It is in this context , she directed all the departments to send the UCs to the Central Government immediately . For taking the assessment of the various economic developments in the state these days Governor RBI Raghuram Rajan was here in our state and had visited certain Industrial units at Jammu and Srinagar and expressed his satisfaction . These days certain envoys are kind to visit our sensitive state and met CM J&K Mehbooba Mufti at Srinagar . Australian delegation led by its Ambassador to India Patrick Suckling had an interaction with Mehbooba. While having interactions , she batted for greater cultural exchanges, initiatives , skill development and tourism in J&K. With such like approach , according to her . all travel advisories would be removed . Yesterday only , Mehboobahad a meeting with the German Ambassador Dr. Murtin Ney and she pleaded for the removal of advisories on J&K and sought for the aid and help to J&K in order to mitigate the sufferings and all other ills faced by the general masses of the state. She expressed her satisfaction on this score and thanked the foreign dignitaries for sparing their valuable time in visiting this sensitive state . While acting swiftly for carrying out the legacy of her father , She pursued the Central Government for allowing the Hurriyat tom hold talks with Pakistan. It is learnt the The Union Government has allowed the Hurriyat in this regard . Briefly, it can be concluded that one month of her governance passed smoothly leaving one or two bad incidents in the valley and Handwara and Kupwara .
