Jammu, May 4: J P World School Channi, Jammu bagged second position in under-17 Inter School Basketball championship organized by Department of Youth Services Sports Jammu held at M.A. Stadium, Jammu from 2nd May to 4th May.
According to press release, JP World School had reached in final after defeating St. Peter School, Karanbagh, Army Public School, Nagrota, and Heritage Public School by a big margin.
The final match was played between JP World School and Nagbani Public School Akhnoor Road, in which J.P. World School lost the match by two baskets. Up to the first three quarters, JP World School was wining but could not win last quarter.
Aditya, Mananya, Amandeep, Amarpreet and Ashish of JP World School played very well and were appreciated by the district officials. They have been practicing for the event under the guidance of their coach Ankita Singh. |
