Jammu, May 4: CAPD authorities have suspended licenses of the four private fair shop dealers after t heir involvement was surfaced in the diverting of government ration to M/S Kissan Flour Mill,Deeli. They have been identified as Faquir Chand, Dealer, Gurha Brahmana (Rural-1), Arjun Singh, Dealer, Talayana (Rural-I), Dharam Paul, Dealer, Palassra (Rural I) and Poonam Shamia, Dealer Gadigarh (Rural II). The order of CAPD having No : 1/2 -CAPDof20l6 DATED: 04.05.2016 read as, " Whereas, a news item was published in the Early Times in the issue of April 28, 2016 that police seized two trucks of PDS wheat from the premises of M/s Kissan Flour Mills, Deeli. Jammu and have registered an FIR No. 32/2016 in the matter in Police Station Channi Himmat, Jammu; Whereas, taking cognizance into the matter this Directorate vide Order No. I05-DCAPDJ of 2016 dated 28.04.2016 constituted an enquiry committee headed by Deputy Director (Supplies) as its Chairman and comprises of Deputy Director (P&S), Assistant Director (T&S) & Assistant Director (Mills) as its members) with the directions to enquire into the matter and submit a detailed factual report within two days pin pointing the lapses/ involvement of the staff/officers/milIer(s)/Fair Price Shop Dealers and anybody else; Whereas, the committee headed by Deputy Director (Supplies) submitted its report on 03.05.2016 in the matter, whereas prima facie four Private Ration Dealers on whose name and permit of wheat was issued are found involved in the pilferage/siphoning off/black marketing of PDS ration".
