JAMMU, May 5: Reiterating commitment of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to provide pro-people governance to mitigate miseries of the common masses, vice president of party, Sardar Rangil Singh today said that one month tenure of Mehbooba Mufti, as Chief Minister, has set up a new standard of accountable and pro-people governance in the State. He said that during the last one month, Mehbooba Mufti, as head of the coalition regime, has taken many revolutionary steps, which are going to address grievances of the people and to solve their problems.
Addressing one day convention of Jammu district (Urban) of the party here this morning, former minister, Sardar Rangil Singh said that within tenure of just one month, Mehbooba Mufti has proved herself as an efficient administrator, whose priority is to address grievances of the people by quick ction. "One month is very small tenure to judge performance of a government but the coalition regime headed by Mehbooba Mufti has proved, within this small period, that the government is working with commitment and dedication to carve out a new path of balanced and equitable development in the State to ensure intra and inter-regional harmony,", he said. |
