| J-K gets first Scania Metrolink premium luxury bus | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 6: Minister for Transport Sunil Kumar Sharma today flagged off the state's first Scania Metrolink premium luxury bus at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in the presence of officials from the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) and the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU).
This marks Scania's first successful association with JKSRTC. Scania is working with JKSRTC and ASRTU to bring sustainable transport solutions to Jammu & Kashmir.
Mikael Benje, Managing Director, Scania India, said, "This is a milestone moment for Scania as we foray into Jammu & Kashmir in collaboration with JKSRTC and ASRTU.
