YNC castigates Govt for postponing polls in JK

Poonch, May 6: At a time when veteran bollywood faces are terming Kashmir as one of the safest place for them, Youth National Conference here has castigated state government for giving an excuse of disturbance for postponing scheduled local body polls in the state.
Addressing a meeting of the workers of Youth National Conference in Poonch, Provincial President of Youth National Conference Ajaz Jan said that state government has postponed the scheduled polls of local bodies in Jammu and Kashmir giving an excuse of disturbance in Kashmir.
"But at the same time bollywood veterans are terming Kashmir as one of the safest place for them which blows the claim the government" Jan added while mentioning a recent media statement by veteran bollywood actor Alok Nath and actor turned producer Imran Khan.
Coming hard on the state government, Jan further said that elections have been postponed only due to the fear of BJP-PDP of facing public wrath as they have failed on every front. "Both the coalition partners have failed to perform and have no confidence to face public in polls for which polls have been postponed", Jan added.
Meanwhile Ajaz Jan also lambasted state government for ignoring the burning issues of people living in border districts of Jammu province including Poonch, Rajouri, Samba, Jammu and Kathua district whereas he also expressed strong concern on poor state of communication network in the Rajouri and Poonch districts which is affecting normal life badly. Earlier the workers of Youth National Conference raised several burning issues of the area and castigated administration for its inefficiency to deal the same.
Meanwhile, Inaugurating a new furniture house of 'Irfan Furniture's' at Poonch, Ajaz Jan appealed youth to focus on works for self-reliance.
This news furniture house named 'Irfan Furniture House' was inaugurated in Dingla village of Poonch which is the sixth furniture shop of the owner Irfan Ahmed in Poonch district. A large number of locals and prominent citizen of the area were present on this occasion.
While addressing the programme Ajaz Jan said that unemployment is a major challenge of today's world and need to be tackled with a multi-dimensional strategy. He also said that besides government jobs youth of the state should also focus on such works and businesses which are self-reliant.
Shaheen Ahmed Khan, Bashir Ahmed Bajran, Sarpanch Ishaq Ahmed Khan, Irfan Qureshi, Sarfraz Tantary, Mistry Abdul Haq , Mushtaq Malik, Lambardar Mohammad Sharif, Haji Yaqoob, Kuldeep Sharma, Mohd Ayoob and others were present on the occasion.
