Cop including three booked for implicating youth on false case

jammu, May 6: Reasi Police booked three persons including a constable for beating and allegedly framing an innocent youth on rape bid, here on Friday.
Police sources giving information said that SSP Reasi Surjit Kumar placed a constable under suspension and ordered his arrest besides two others after it brought to his notice that the trio had implicated a youth on false case of rape bid. The accused have been identified as Bashir Ahmed,Ghulam Nabi and constable Mohd Sultan (No.949/RSI). The trio was booked in case FIR No.23/2016 under section 342/323/34/RPC.
As per the details, an incident that took place at Pouni under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pouni. It is alleged that one Bashir Ahmed son of Abdul Gaffar Bhat resident of Talwara lodged a written complaint at Police Station Pouni that one Rahul Kumar son of Ram Chand resident of Talwara trespassed and entered into his house and attempted to outranged the modesty of his daughter. On this complaint, a case vide FIR No. 22/2016 under section 451/376/211/354 RPC was registered.
However, it was after half an hour when one Gian Chand son of Anant Ram resident of Talwara lodged a written complaint at Police Station Pouni that his nephew namely Rahul Kumar son of Ram Chand resident of Talwara had gone to Pouni on 4th May 2016 in his vehicle. The persons namely Bashir Ahmed, Shokat, Gaffur, Const. Mohd Sultan and some other unknown persons caught hold him and taken him to in-laws house of Bashir Ahmed son of Abdul Gaffar Bhat resident of Talwara where they kept him in illegal confinement and beaten him mercilessly due to which Rahul Kumar received grievous injuries and was admitted in the GMC hospital for advance treatment .It was after investigation, the matter of implication of youth on false case was surfaced.The further inquiry was handed over to the DySP Hqrs Reasi.
