Jammu, May 23: Congress today lambasted the tall claim of coalition partners especially BJP regarding the good governance, massive development based on fair and equitable distribution of resources stand exposed due to the utter frustration in their own cadres including legislators.
Reacting to the outburst of some ruling party legislators in the board meetings (DDBs) about the performance and delivery of Govt. on various fronts including the absence adequate resources and unfair distribution, the Congress said it reflected how much frustration are the cadres of ruling parties especially BJP as they are facing the heat of people for failure of the government to deliver on any fronts.
Chief Spokesman of the PCC, Ravinder Sharma said that the party (BJP) which had always alleged the discrimination with Jammu and promised to ensure equitable development has been exposed leading their own cadres answerless and frustrated due to the large scale resentment amongst the people.
"The balloon of their claims of development and governance has been burst and now inside story is out in public that only those enjoying ministerial berths appear to be more than satisfied with the performances of their Govt. for which they don't miss any opportunity to make tall claims, PCC Spokesperson said.
He said, "It is unfortunate that the party which always projected itself to be messiah of the rights of the people of Jammu region and spread false hopes for the sake of power is a mute spectator for few cabinet berths and have betrayed their electorate."
"They would face more wrath of people in the days to come, as they fail to realize the level of resentment against them, in the general public, he said adding, "they are usually missing from amongst their electorate and even close down the camp summer secretariat in Jammu in order to play hide and seek with the people who elected 25 MLAs to the party.
