ter coming into power
in the state of Jammu and Kashmir on 4th May once again under the Chief Minister ship of Mehbooba Mufti has stabilized very much and started delivering the goods to the needy people of the state. District Development Boards (DDBs) meetings are being convened as per the scheduled/ chalked out programme by the government as also the preparations of the formulation of the state budget for the year 2016-17 are going on swiftly and it is hoped that the budget will be tax free.
Seeing the successful functioning of the government, some political organizations and the separatists / seditionists are busy in applying the curbs over the government to function smoothly.
Day and night they are busy in making the evil designs and strategies to jam and derail the government and they are for the total chaos and lawlessness in the state. This is their politics actually and they don't want to see the overall development in the state.
Seeing her style of functioning during the last fortnight after assuming the charge of the Chief Minister of the state of Jammu and Kashmir , it has been felt that Mehbooba Mufti is trying her best to keep the people in good mood against her . So Mehbooba is ensuring that no body feels allergic about her as far as possible . It has also been noticed that she has applied self restraints while addressing the media persons in order to avoid any controversy between her and the Central Government. Now it is her upmost task to build up the acceptability as the popular Chief Minister of the state. Mehbooba Mufti will have to remain very cautious in dealing with the delicate and sensitive matters thereby using her wisdom to the best possible.
Taking the legacy of her father Mufti Sahib forward in mitigating the miseries of the people is considered to be on her top priority.
Being the 13th woman Chief Minister and successor of her father Mufti Mohammed as the CM, she is under obligation to carry the legacy of her father forward in the welfare of the people of the state . Heading the coalition government Mehbooba Mufti would be facing these challenging priorities fot their solutions without any delay. Her father Mufti Mohammed Sayeed was well experienced and farsighted politician of the country and so it becomes foremost important for keeping her party intact in delivering the goods to the people of the state for their ultimate betterment . She should do such acts for the welfare from where it looks very clear that she is the acceptable CM for all the three regions - Ladhakh, Kashmir and Jammu following the footsteps of her father Mufti Mohammed Sayeed .
Since the National Conference is out of power at the moment and that is why they are disputing the Accession of J&K to India ? People have already out rightly rejected them in the last assembly elections in the state paving the space for the PDP- BJP combine to Rule the state further.
Not only this , they did not get even a single Lok Sabha seat from J&K to represent the people in the Indian Parliament. Now presently they are ductless body from which the people won't get the benefits . These days they are on the same page with the separatists and the seditionists in disputing the Accession as also against the present political set up in the state . People are the best judge in a parliamentary system of government and their leaders as well . The leaders of the National Conference and the separatists are trying to focus the attention of the World towards the Kashmir issue time and again .They are raising the bogey of establishing the Kashmiri Pandit colonies and the various Sainik colonies in the valley and busy in instigating the Kashmiri masses against the Union Administrative set up of the country. They want total unrest in the state.
They are exploiting the people against the new Industrial policy of the state under which the non local industrial corporate can acquire the state land under lease norms fixed by the state government outside the Industrial Estates in the state . Separatists and the National Conference are busy these days to destabilize the present government set up in the state and came out openly to ruin the on going tourists season of J&K particularly the valley.
This time, tourists from across the country and abroad as well have thronged in large numbers and are enjoying a lot by visiting the attractive sites of Pahalgam and Gulmarg in the valley. They are making their stay comfortably to their full satisfaction . Pahalgam and Gulmarg attracted the tourists in large numbers . Presently the law and order situation in the valley is largely peaceful and calm leaving aside some sporadic incidence of militants intrusions across the LOC and encounters .
The State Government seems perturbed over the refusal of the Central Government for returning the power projects to the state very bluntly as also about the refusal for the revocation of the AFSPA from the valley in un equivocal terms.
According to the political circles, the Mehbooba government is making the indepth analysis of the Agenda of Alliance (AOA) and asking the Union Government for acceptance of the various incorporations made therein the AOA seriously giving no chance to the PDP from backing out of the AOA . The leadership of PDP in an un equivocal terms have made it clear to the Union Government on this score otherwise the things will not be the same as are prevailing at the moment. But certainly one thing is there that Mehbooba government is moving ahead very cautiously and giving no chance to unnecessary controversies with the Central Government and rather gave a surprise to her political opponents in the state . On the contrary the position of BJP in Jammu Division is becoming bad to worst as the people felt totally ditched as it has bartered its all promises made before the assembly elections in the state.
Recently over the NIT Srinagar issue, BJP had not come openly in support of non local students but betrayed them like anything and gave a set back to patriotic forces in the country.
From the prevailing political atmosphere in the state of Jammu and Kashmir one can draw this impression that there are certain forces as spelt out in this article are bent upon to destabilize the present government setup from functioning as also various other things which are detrimental to the interests of the country are cropping up. The Union Government has to be alert and prompt in its actions always.
