CEO Kishtwar places six teachers under suspension

Kishtwar, May 24: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kishtwar Abdul Hamid Fani today placed six teachers under suspension after they were found absent from their duties during a surprise visit jointly conducted by CEO Kishtwar and the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar.
As per the details available with "Early Times" on Monday, CEO Kishtwar along with ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma conduct surprise visit of various schools of education Zone Kishtwar and found Primary School Malipath and Primary School Guriyan closed while the staff too was found unauthorizedly absent from their duties.
"Rifat Mir (ReT) in Primary School Bandari Mohalla during the visit was found present in the arrival register but physically not present in the school" read CEO Kishtwar order added that "further during the visit it was found that the leave application submitted by Sharifa Begum, Firdous Parveen, Tanveer Ahmed, Teacher Middle School Malipath and Geeta Devi RReT and Aneeka Arjumand RET Upper Primary School Lanyal but their signatures on applications mismatched with the signatures in daily arrival.
The visiting team also noticed poor attendance of students in Middle School Hudri and Primary School Mir Mohalla. Taking strict step, the CEO Kishtwar placed Shamima Begum teacher Middle School Malipath, Mohammad Aslam RRET Primary School Malipath, Hanifa Begum teacher Primary School Malipath, Jaffer Hussain RRET Primary School Guriyan, Javed Iqbal RReT Primary School Guriyan and Shehnaza Begum RET at Primary School Bhandari Mohalla under suspension while Sharifa Begum, Firdous Parveen, Tanveer Ahmed, Geeta Devi, Aneeka Arjumad and Rifat Mir had been asked to explain their position with regard to their leave applications.
Meanwhile a committee comprising Deputy CEO Kishtwar Prehlad Baghat and Dr Nadeem Ul Hassan lecturer Urdu has been asked inquire matter and directed to submit the report in three days.
