Early Times Report

Srinagar, May 24: Continuing with his plan to prepare an environment for a long cycle of violence, Separatist leader, Yaseen Malik after motivating other Separatist factions and Transporters today approached government employee heads to motivate them for his strategy.
One noted employee leader told Early Times that Yaseen Malik approached them along with his supporters today and hinted to be ready for a long cycle of violence in Kashmir very soon. He said that Malik discussed, return of Kashmiri Pandits, NEET, Sainik colony establishment and similar other burning issues with them in angry tone and asked them if they are ready to support him in his pre-planned long strike strategy.
"He said we (Separatists) need your moral support in this strategy and won't ask you to come on roads as government is planning to establish two separate colonies for Kashmiri Pandits and Retired Army officials in Kashmir against the will of people here. He hardly bothered to seek our suggestions in this regard and decided everything as per his wishes."One Employee leader part of meeting said
Employee leader said that all other leaders who were part of the meeting could not utter a single word against the will of Yaseen Malik due to fear of declaring them anti Kashmiris and would only move their heads with every yes and no of Malik.
Other leaders who were part of the meeting according to sources include head of employees joint action committee (EJAC) Abdul Qayoom Wani along with Farooq Ahmad Trali, Fayaz Shabnum, Farooq Ahmad Khan, Shabir Ahmad Langoo ,Khurshid Ahmad Butt and Muhammad Lateef.
The meeting was held at the office of EJAC and employee heads were informed by separatist leaders in advance today morning to be present at EJAC office for a get-together.
Today was the fourth meeting of Yaseen Malik in last four days in which he first met Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Heads of Transport agencies and today heads of employees. Malik according to sources side by side conducting meetings with Separatist leaders, Transporters and employee heads also engages youth at District Headquarters these days to make his Hartal strategy effective by forcible shut down. While most of separatist leaders including Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Shabir Shah are house detained and Masarat Alam is in Jail,Yaseen Malik enjoying government helplessness according to sources enjoys free movement as per his wishes to propagate anti national activities in Kashmir.
People from different walks of life not ready to observe long strikes of separatist leaders are also surprised to see clueless approach of government to curb activities of Separatist leaders. While separatist faction of Malik makes his pre-planned Hartal strategy now public by issuing statements in press, government according to some senior citizens looks as if helpless to put him behind the bars.
A fresh statement issued by separatist faction of Yaseeen Malik to few press agencies termed present back to back meetings of Malik as strategy to counter "present situation and conspiratorial plots of so-called rulers to establish separate colonies for ex-army men, Pundits, and homeless outsiders, East India type industrial policy, oppression unleashed on Jammu Muslims, NEET like acts. "These conspiracies are being hatched only to change the demography of Jammu Kashmir, harm its Muslim majority character and change majority into minority and agreed to resist these plots with unity and steadfastness." the statement said.
