DODA, May 25: All India Students Federation, Doda, Educational Development Society (EDS) and locals have alleged that even as the government had issued transfer orders of DRGs, ZRPs and CRPs from time to time, the officers concerned had not relieved them. Most of them were illegally working in the offices of CEO and ZEOs for the past more than 10 years now, AISF general secretary Munish and EDS general secretary Mushtaq Malik alleged, saying though they had been transferred a number of times to their original places of posting, but the authorities concerned were not following the orders of higher ups for reasons best known to them. They also alleged misappropriation of funds in the name of contingency and management cost. Even funds provided by the Centre for surveys, census and welfare of handicapped had been drawn in violation of the set norms, he alleged. They alleged that money was being wasted in the trainings under IED (inclusive education for disabled) scheme, resulting in a loss to the state exchequer. Locals alleged that an influential IED DRG had deployed his two brothers, wife and a cousin as CRPs by using the influence of his brother who was CEO. They have demanded personal intervention of education minister Nayeem Akhtar in setting the things right in education department in Doda district. |
