Srinagar, May 26: MLAs will now receive information about business to be conducted in the Assembly through email and SMS -- a move aimed at ensuring they are updated on a daily basis.
The step undertaken by the state Assembly and its IT wing would go a long way in ensuring smooth functioning of the budget session, an official spokesperson said today.
The Assembly Secretariat would also provide all the requisite information on its website, he said.
