Niall residents protest against PDD 5/27/2016 11:15:51 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, May 27: Up in arms against unscheduled power cuts in Niall village of tehsil Manjakot and its adjoining areas of Rajouri district, a large number of locals held a protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) and also blocked road to register their resentment. Protesting villagers assembled outside XEN Office Rajouri and raised slogans against the department. While expressing resentment said that about three years back a transformer of 25 KV was installed at Niali village under RGGY, but the department has failed to make it functional. Mohd Ayub, Shamsher Hussain and others while expressing anguish over the issue said that due to careless attitude of power department people have to face lot of hardships especially students community.
