Poonch, May 27: To make more and easy money, the drivers of Tata Sumos have got their vehicles modified to ferry more passengers while the concerned traffic authorities are in deep slumber or just waiting for the any fatal eventuality.
Locals who on seeing an overloading sumo always apprehend a 'danger and uncertainty' looming over condemn the authorities for adopting a lackadaisical approach towards their duties.
"Just because of overloading, many a times some sumos have met with dreadful accidents and some precious human lives were lost while some were left maimed and crippled for life time but who cares for common masses, said a local resident.
He lamented only to make more and easy money these drivers have got their vehicles modified which not only allow them to overload but also destabilize the centre of gravity of vehicle further making it prone to accidents or other hazards but the sumo drivers in Mendhar are playing with the life of humans only to make money."
