| Samba, May 27: The Motor Vehicle Department Samba today launched a drive against traffic rule violators and realized a fine of Rs 4,16,500. A team led by ARTO Samba, Kuldeep Singh along with MVI's, C.S Ballowria and Chander Mohan Sharma laid nakas and carried out extensive checking of vehicles in Bari Brahmana and adjoining areas. During the drive, 107 vehicles were compounded and 7 vehicles were seized for various offences under the relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act. The ARTO Samba informed that the surprise checking will continue to avoid violation of traffic and Motor Vehicle Rules. |
