Early Times Report RAMBAN, May 27: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban chaired a meeting with Assistant Road Transport Officer (ARTO) Ramba and executive officers of various road construction agencies for maintenance of road well before the start of Shri Amarnath Ji Annual Yatra -2016 for the smooth regulation of traffic on the National Highway - 44 as well as link roads, here today. During the meeting, SSP Randeep Kumar apprised the participants about the dilapidated condition of NH from Patnitop to Kharpora Banihal due to the ongoing construction and non maintenance work by various companies on the road. He directed all the participants to synergize their efforts for ensuring smooth plying of vehicles on highway. Pointing to the uncertain blockage of road and jams at many places, SSP directed the companies' authorities for ensuring the uninterrupted traffic flow and stringent action against the defaulters.
