Jammu, May 29: A traffic constable of Jammu and Kashmir died while six others were injured when a taxi they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in city outskirts here this morning.
The traffic cop identified as Abhant Singh Choudhary, son of Kartar Chand, resident of Nowshera, Rajouri died on the spot while six others got injured when the taxi on way towards Jammu met with the accident and plunged into canal near Kanhachak.
Two of the injured were identified as Tilak Raj, 65, resident of Lambedi and his son Vinod Kumar,32 while all of them have been shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. |
