Jammu, May 30: The four days long First Aid/FMR Training Course to the Employees of various Department i.e. Rural Development, Health, Social Welfare, School Education and Red Cross Volunteers concluded, organized by Indian Red Cross Society Jammu region at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. The First Aid Training was imparted by a team of senior consultants including Dr TR Raina, Administrator, Swami Vivekanand Hospital, Jammu, Dr Satish Sharma, Dr Rajinder Thappa, Dr Munish, Senior Orthopedic Surgeon, Max. Hospital, Amritsar Dr Vidhi Kohli, Medical Officer, Police Hospital, Jammu, Dr M L Sharma (Retd.) DMO and Dr Kavita Nijhon, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary. M L Raina, Director, Rural Development Department, Jammu was the Chief Guest on the Valedictory function of First Aid Training at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chawni, Jammu and interacted with the First Aid Trainers. He also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts taken by the Red Cross for imparting First Aid Training which is mandatory. He further impressed upon the trainers to provide every possible First Aid to the injured when it required in order saving precious lives. R C Puri, Hony.
