Srinagar, May 31: Two Kashmir families which have returned from Pakistan as part of rehabilitation policy are denied entry into India at Nepal border for almost a week now. Family sources said that the two families of Ghulam Muhammad from Kupwara and Mohammad Shafi Bhat from Budgam comprise fifteen members, including nine kids. "They have been visiting the border outpost manned by Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB) for past five days, but they are denied entry into India," said a family source. The families, he said, could land in more trouble as Nepal Police has asked them to vacate the hostel and return to Pakistan as their documents to stay in the country have expired. The families hail from Kupwara and Budgam districts. The rehabilitation policy was announced as an amnesty for those youths who had crossed over to Pakistan for arms training in early '90s. |
