Jammu, June 24: Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India on Friday concluded its five day photo exhibition at Chamliyal in Samba district. According to press release, the exhibition titled 'Mera Desh Badal Raha Hai, Aage Badh Raha Hai' was part of a series of photo exhibitions organized throughout the country by the department. These exhibitions are a part of Special Outreach Program of the Government to inform the public about the different public welfare schemes launched during last two years. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament visited the exhibition and applauded the efforts of DAVP in spreading awareness about the policies and programs of the Government of India. Information about the flagship schemes was displayed through a series of 50 photo panels. Schemes like Swachh Bharat Mission, Skill India, Stand Up India, MUDRA, Sukanya Simridhi Yojna, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Make In India, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, Deendayal Upadhayaya Gram Jyoti Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojna were highlighted during the five-day long exhibition. The event was thronged by a large number of people. |
